NEW ART NOW SHOWING AT STARTING GROUNDS

Art is everywhere.  And God has given us all the ability to create.  At Starting Grounds Church we believe in providing space for local artists to share their work and their creativity with the rest of the community.  We do not charge artists to show their work in our gallery.  Starting Grounds Church takes only a 10 percent commission from the sale of art and leaves nearly all of the profit with the artists.  As with the coffee that people enjoy at Starting Grounds, the 10 percent commission is donated to a local charity or aid organization.  During the September/October art show 10% of all sales of art will go directly to the St. Vincent de Paul rental assistance program.

It is enough to enjoy art and the talent and creativity of so many people, but we believe that we can do more with these talents.  Once again, we embrace the economy of generosity and turn income into a blessing for others.  So every time you purchase any artwork from Starting Grounds Church you are helping support local community charities and aid organizations.  For more information about the art program at Starting Grounds Church or if you are an artist and want to show your work at Starting Grounds contact Art Director Ron Jones at millenium21@comcast.net
