Brandon Marten is the Senior Pastor and Teacher at Starting Grounds Church, where he is blessed to indulge his passion to teach the Bible and to share the love of Jesus with anyone who will listen.  He hopes that Starting Grounds will continue to be a place where all people are welcome to come and discover the wonderful character and nature of God while forging deep relationships with other people in the community.

Brandon is blessed to have a strong and loving family.  He has been married to his wife Bekah for 12 years.  Together they have two boys – Jack, 7 and Alex, 5.  His experiences as a husband and father have given him a tremendous heart for young families and the issues we all face on a daily basis.  His vision is to see Starting Grounds Church deeply affect the city of Battle Ground by being a community of people who help each other amidst the everyday struggles of life.
